ETC Presents Dracula: The Panto
Written with Lucy Thirkell. With Songs by Shirley Kent (UK production). ‘Revived and reVamped’ version with songs by Ben Asaykwee.

Strapped for cash, and newly engaged – Junior Law Clerk Johnny Harker hopes his upcoming business trip will be quick and lucrative. Meanwhile his fianceé Mina attends an engagement party for her best friend Lucy, thrown by the Widow Westenbra, who has invited three potential grooms! Imprisioned by his client in Transylvania, Johnny escapes, and races him back to England, where he teams up with Lucy’s suitors (The Curator of the local Lunatic Asylum, A Lord with more money than sense, and a Texan Cowboy) before Dracula can become a serious pain in the neck!

A family-friendly, musical-comedy adaptation, in the traditional British Panto style.

Originally produced in the UK in 2010 in Stratford upon Avon.

The ‘Revised and reVamped’ version, was an audience favorite at IndyFringe in Indianapolis, featuring the orginal Mina. That production was re-mounted at the Irvington Lodge in Indianapolis, and performed during Irvington Halloween Festival. Most of the fringe cast returned, with two replacements due to scheduling. (Still the same original Mina!)

Subsequently produced in El Dorado, California.
